Your GPS Tracker Classic no longer charges, or the LED does not react when you plug it in? Follow these steps in order.
1. Charge for 2 hours
Plug the tracker in for 2 hours with the original cable. Before plugging it in, make sure the charging port is completely dry: if it is damp, let it dry first.
2. Try other accessories
If the tracker still does not charge, try another cable, another power adapter and another wall socket or USB port, to rule out a faulty accessory.
3. Check the LED
How the LED behaves while charging depends on the tracker's firmware version:
- firmware 4.49.1 and later: the LED flashes while charging, then stays on once charging is complete;
- older versions (4.28): the LED stays on while charging, then turns off once charging is complete.
The firmware version is shown in the Invoxia GPS app: select your tracker, tap the settings icon, then "About the tracker": the version is shown under "Firmware version". When the tracker is not charging, an LED that is off is normal: it only indicates charging.
While charging, the LED flashes:
Once charged, the LED stays on:
4. Restart the tracker
Press the button firmly and continuously for 20 seconds. If the button comes back up during the press, the restart fails: try again. Then keep an eye on the battery level over the next few days.
5. Still not charging?
If the LED does not light up when charging, or if the battery life stays abnormally short, contact our support team through the Invoxia GPS app or at support@invoxia.com, and describe how the LED behaves when the tracker is plugged in (flashing, steady, off). We will then look into a replacement.
