What is the position frequency on your GPS Tracker Pro Max?
You can set how often the GPS Tracker Pro Max sends its position.
This does not mean that you will systematically get a validated location point: depending on the signal (on where you have placed your tracker), on your tracker's movement and on the network coverage in the area, some locations may not be displayed in your app.
For example, if the tracker has not moved between two locations, the point may not appear in your app. Invoxia technology was designed so that you know precisely where your tracker is, while preserving your battery and avoiding unnecessary alerts.
Note that the higher the frequency, the more your battery will be used. Conversely, a more widely spaced frequency makes it possible to reach a battery life of up to 6 months.
Which frequency for your GPS Tracker Pro Max?
With the GPS Tracker Pro Max, you can choose a position-sending frequency from 1 second to 32 minutes, or request a position on demand. Depending on your needs, you can change the frequency and ask your tracker to send more or fewer location points.
To track your tracker in real time, Live Tracking lets you receive up to 1 position per second.
As on the GPS Tracker Pro, you can choose between 4 frequency modes in the app: extreme, high, standard or low. The extreme mode corresponds to Live Tracking (up to 1 position per second) for real-time tracking; the low mode spaces out the positions (up to 32 minutes) in order to preserve the battery.
Changing the sending frequency
Make sure your Bluetooth is enabled and that you are near your tracker:
- Open the Invoxia GPS app
- Select your GPS Tracker Pro Max and tap the settings icon, then wait a few seconds for the Bluetooth connection to be established
- Tap "position frequency"
- Choose the desired frequency
The GPS Tracker Pro Max will send you its position according to the chosen mode, taking into account any periods of immobility, your tracker's location and the network coverage in the area.
