It all depends on whether you use our Tap to Talk mode or not!
If you don't use Tap to Talk mode:
Enabling Alexa on your Triby means having Triby’s microphones always on the lookout for the “Alexa” wake word, which requires Triby to stay awake. (Please note that to respect your privacy, Triby will never send any sound to the cloud unless its LED has signaled it is listening). As a consequence, when Alexa is turned on, you can expect a battery life of up to 2 days, whereas when Alexa is turned off, Triby’s battery will last up to 2 weeks.
If you use Tap to Talk mode:
When you're not asking a request to Alexa, your power consumption will not differ from the one when Alexa is disabled. Thus, Triby's battery life will decrease only when you actually use Alexa.
