Your Bike Tracker no longer updates its position or no longer connects over Bluetooth? A simple restart often solves the problem quickly.
Step by step
- Check the battery. Make sure the Bike Tracker is sufficiently charged (ideally 20 % or more). If needed, charge it for at least 30 minutes first.
- Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
- Force the restart: press and hold the tracker's button for about 20 seconds. Do not release too early.
- Wait 4 to 5 minutes for Bluetooth, network and GPS to reconnect, ideally outdoors or on a windowsill.
- Check in the app that the Bike Tracker shows as connected and that its position updates.
Common mistakes
- Pressing the button too briefly
- Battery too low
- Testing indoors without GPS signal: for a reliable test, leave the Bike Tracker outdoors for 5 to 10 minutes
An active subscription is required for the Bike Tracker to send its positions.
