Real-Time Boost gives you the opportunity to temporarily increase your tracker’s location update frequency on demand. For 30 minutes after activation, your tracker will update its location every 30 seconds. You can choose to deactivate Real-Time Boost, or extend its duration at any time.
Activating Real-Time Boost can be done from the main ‘map’ screen of your Invoxia GPS App on iOS or Android. Just click on the ⚡️lightning icon in the upper right hand corner to activate Real-Time Boost.

Real-Time Boost requires the latest version of the Invoxia GPS App. An update to your tracker’s software (a.k.a. firmware) may also be required. Please see HERE for more details on how to update both.
Activation Delay
Please note that activation of Real-Time Boost will occur during your tracker’s next scheduled location update. Depending on configuration, this could take as little as 2 minutes, or up to 24 hours if your tracker is stationary. You will be notified as soon as Real-Time Boost is active.
Should you be in close proximity to your tracker and connected to it via Bluetooth, Real-Time Boost will be activated immediately.
Duration
To ensure that your GPS Tracker doesn’t run out of battery, Real-Time Boost will be automatically deactivated after 30 minutes. If you want to extend this period, you can at any time by clicking on the Real-Time Boost banner in the app. It will always display how much time is remaining.
Battery Life
Please note that Real-Time Boost is designed for use in emergency situations. While it greatly increases your tracker’s update frequency, it will decrease operating time. More frequent updates consume more power than standard tracking modes.
