The GPS Tracker relies on a new connectivity technology (called Sigfox / LoRaWan), that has limitations in terms of amount of information that can be sent, in exchange for low battery consumption and low subscription cost, as opposed for instance to cellular.
This is why the GPS Tracker does not send locations in real-time when moving, but on a certain frequency that you can set from the app settings. The higher the frequency of positions, the more precise the history of positions, but the shorter the battery life.
In our experience this should be more than enough to know precisely where your things have traveled, and to find them in case of loss or theft. Sending a location takes a lot of battery, and at Invoxia we strongly believe that when you discover that your vehicle has been stolen, you had better have as much battery as possible remaining.
