This article applies to Invoxia GPS Trackers (Classic, Mini, Bike, Pro and Pro Max). Do you have the impression that the battery percentage is frozen, or that the LED on your tracker is off? In most cases, this is perfectly normal.
πΆ 1. The displayed level is the last value received
To last several weeks or months on a single charge, your tracker does not stay connected all the time. The app therefore shows the last battery level it transmitted, which may be a few hours old.
π To get the actual level, bring your phone close to the tracker with Bluetooth turned on: the value will update.
β 2. The battery shows a "?" or appears greyed out
This means the tracker has not communicated with our servers for more than 8 hours. This is not a charging issue but a transmission issue: bring your phone close to the tracker, or restart the tracker and leave it for 2 hours somewhere with good network coverage.
π‘ 3. The LED is off
- GPS Tracker Classic, Mini and Bike: the LED is only used to indicate charging. It flashes during charging, then stays solid once the tracker is fully charged. The rest of the time it is off: this does not mean the tracker is switched off. See the article How do I know if my tracker is charging?.
- GPS Tracker Pro Max: blue flashing during charging, solid green once fully charged, white in other situations. A red light indicates a problem: contact us.
π 4. Be notified before the battery runs out
You automatically receive an alert (email and notification) when your tracker battery drops below 20%. Remember to charge it at that point: once the battery is completely empty, the tracker can no longer send a position or be detected via Bluetooth.
π© 5. When to contact us
Contact us with your tracker serial number if:
- the battery never reaches 100% after a full 2-hour charge;
- the battery drains within one to two weeks while the location frequency is set to Standard;
- the LED does not light up at all during charging, even with a different cable and charger.
