If your tracker detected a first movement and then stopped sending any information, even with alerts turned on and location on demand, follow the steps below.
✅ Checks to perform
1️⃣ Check the selected tracking mode ⚙️
Your tracker is in Standard mode.
👉 In Standard mode:
- positions are sent at regular intervals
- alerts are only triggered when a significant movement is detected
💡 Short or small movements may not be reported right away.
2️⃣ Make sure the tracker has actually moved 🚶♂️
To trigger a detection, the tracker must really be moved: a very short movement or a light vibration may not be enough.
👉 Hold the button down for 20 seconds.
👉 Then test by moving the tracker over several dozen meters.
3️⃣ Check your alert settings 🔔
Make sure the following options are turned on in the app:
✅ Significant movement ✅ Movement while stationary
After changing the settings, wait a few minutes for them to take effect.
4️⃣ Test location on demand 📍
If location on demand does not work:
- check that the tracker is in an area covered by the Orange LoRa network: https://www.orange-business.com/fr/reseau-iot
- avoid enclosed places (underground parking, thick-walled buildings)
👉 The location may take a few moments to appear.
5️⃣ Check the battery 🔋
A low battery can limit:
- sending positions
- triggering alerts
Make sure the tracker battery is sufficiently charged.
💡 Useful tip
To quickly check that the tracker works:
- temporarily switch to High position frequency
- make a clear, sustained movement
- check whether a position or an alert comes through
This confirms that the tracker is working properly.
🆘 Need help?
If after these checks no position comes through and no alert is triggered:
👉 Contact Invoxia support by submitting a request through the Help Center.
Please include:
- the position frequency used
- the battery level
- the type of movement performed
✨ In most cases, these checks restore movement detection and location.
Your tracker is designed to work reliably: a few adjustments are often all it takes.
